Meet Indianapolis Attorney Collen Skole
A graduate of Indiana University School of Law, I represent clients throughout Indianapolis, Indiana, in the areas of wills, estate planning, and probate and estate administration. I am admitted to practice in Indiana state courts and in the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. I am also a member of the American Bar Association, the Indianapolis Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association and the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association.
My interest in helping clients one-on-one began well even before I became an lawyer. Prior to law school, I was a legal assistant for Klezmer and Maudlin, an Indianapolis workers' compensation law firm. There, I saw first-hand the value of being a direct and involved advocate. I am still of counsel with that firm.
During and after law school, I worked as a mentor and judge with the Teen Court in Indianapolis, an alternative courtroom for first time juvenile offenders. Active in the community, I also volunteer with the Sisters of Providence in Terre Haute, doing pro bono estate planning work for the sisters.
A mother of two children, now 19 and 22, I know on a personal level the issues that parents and families face. I approach every matter I handle with patience and compassion, and I am focused on helping my clients understand their rights and options, taking the fear out of the legal process.
